WC-Series: Compact Filters
Exceed Microwave provides compact filters and diplexers with wide pass-bands. This type can also help suppress higher order modes above the cutoff frequency.
WR34 Compact Wideband Diplexer
- WR34 Wideband Diplexer
- Covers nearly entire WR34 Frequency Band
- 18% Bandwidth Channels
- 20dB Return Loss across both channel pass-bands
- Silver Plated Aluminum
- Compact Size: 1.5 x 1.8 x 0.875 in.
Key Features
- Very short length. Typically half the length of standard waveguide filters.
- Capable of achieving wider passbands than standard waveguide filters. Standard waveguide filters have poor high frequency rejection when used with wide passbands but Exceed Microwave’s WC-Series BPF still provides excellent high frequency rejection.
- WC-Series Filters can be designed to reject higher order modes above the waveguide cutoff frequency.
WC-SERIES VS STANDARD WAVEGUIDE FILTERS
- Here we compare two WR28 Ka-band filters designed for the same exact frequency, pass-band, and number of sections.
- We’re comparing Exceed Microwave’s WC-Series filter against a standard waveguide filter which is an H-plane Iris Coupled Filter
- The length of the WC-Series filter is almost half of the standard filter.
- Other advantages are the ability to achieve wide pass-bands and provide excellent high frequency rejection performance.
